Lactaid Extra Strength Lactase Enzyme come in a 40-tablet format. Prevent gas, bloating or diarrhea and prevent the uncomfortable symptoms of lactose intolerance with these tablets. They contain the digestive enzyme lactase which breaks down lactose into sugars, making it easier to digest. DIRECTIONS: Take 1 tablet immediately before consuming any food containing lactose. The dose of lactase enzyme required will vary according to the lactose content of the food ingested. DOSAGE: Start with 1 tablet. Increase to 2 tablets as needed. Taking 2 tablets should prevent symptoms caused by lactose intolerance. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a physician. WARNING: Keep out of reach of children.
